There is nothing more enjoyable than taking a ride on your faithful steed during your vacation!  The Boone  and Blowing Rock areas are the perfect places to bring your horse and take a stroll.  Nightly stables are available for the individuals who decide to bring their large friend to the area.  There are also a number of stables in the area that provide casual riding for the vacationer.

Home of the Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show, America's oldest continuous running horse show (held June & August this year). Celebrating their 84th year! Located adjacent to Moses H. Cone Memorial Park, having easy access to 26 miles of carriage trails. Nightly horse boarding, with 430 permanent stalls. Open year round.
